The choices we make have long-lasting effects on our environments, both inside and out. Because of this K & K Cleaning Contractors uses environmentally-friendly cleaning products and methods that protect your business – and the people within them. A few of the cleaning services we provide include:
We strongly believe in agitating the carpet because it really loosens up the dirt and grime, for that reason K & K Cleaning contractors uses the best methods and procedures that include agitation and extraction to give our customers the best possible results.
The VLM is a encapsulating machine that thoroughly agitates the carpet to loosen up the dirt and grime after pre-spray.
K & K Cleaning then proceeds to extract with the high powered Steamin Demon. The most unique quality of Steamin Demon Extractors is their ability to recover the cleaning water back out of the carpet while extracting. In fact, the Steamin Demon’s water recovery rate is so high that drying times of an hour or less is not uncommon. The reason for this is simple, the vacuum motor is located within inches of the carpet. The short distance between the vacuum motor and the carpet allows Steamin Demon Extractors to channel much more vacuum force to the carpet.
When carpets need to be used immediately K & K Cleaning uses the Orbot Vibe low-moisture system that has been engineered to clean any type of carpet, in any situation and also leave it as dry as possible so it is ready to use immediately.
The HOS system was designed in mind to support a healthy indoor environment. Carpets will simply be clean, vibrant in color, and dry within minutes. The system will eliminate the most common problems caused by other cleaning methods that lead to mold growth, mildew, volatile organic compounds (VOC), insufficient drying times, recurring stains, and safety hazards.
This High Steam method is available for anyone who prefers a quick and simple carpet cleaning, with a very short drying time period. Although K&K Cleaning highly recommends the methods that agitate the carpet for heavily soiled areas, this method can be used in very lightly soiled areas.
K&K Cleaning will pre-inspect areas prior to cleaning and will recommend which method would be best for your carpet needs. K&K Cleaning pretreats all areas with the right cleaning solution that will be most effective and healthiest for your family.
WE at K & K Cleaning Contractors are proud to say that all equipment and products we use meet the requirements to have the seal of approval from The Carpet And Rug Institute. We service offices, buildings, restaurants, hotels, theatres, big and small department stores, hallways and lobbies.
There are two ways to effectively treat odors. The most common is the use of a deodorizer whose molecules bond with the odor preventing them form escaping into the air. The second way is to use a deodorizer that contains a micro-enzyme digester. These products contain microbes that digest the odor causing problem, effectively eliminating them. Odor that have penetrated deep into the carpet pad or flooring can be very difficult and impossible to entirely eliminate.
Red stains can be the most difficult if not impossible to remove from carpet and fabrics, as they are usually caused by red dye. Red dyes are commonly found in such products as kool Aid, Popsickles, and some pet foods. Product labels can be checked to eliminate such problems, as well as carefully supervising children who may be handling such products. We have recently purchased a product that can effectively remove most Kool-Aid stains.
K&K Cleaning Contractors carries several products to effectively remove such stains as urine, blood, chewing gum, coffee, rust, grease, and oil. Urine should be removed within six months of the problem or it may become set.
Carpet and upholstery drying time is affected by four factors: humidity of the air, the thickness of carpet pile, outside air temperature and air movement and method used.
The average drying time for carpet is 4 to 6 hours, and upholstery 12 hours, but can be dramatically reduced by placing fans in the room or running the furnace or air conditioning under high humidity conditions.
